Move the person away from the contaminated area. Make the affected person rest.
Skin contact :
Remove all contaminated clothing and footwear. Wash with water. In case of inflammation (redness, irritation, ...) obtain medical attention.
Eye contact :
Rinse with running water whilst keeping the eyes wide open. (at least 15 minutes).
NEVER attempt to induce vomiting. Rinse mouth out with water.

Avoid contact with eyes. Do not breathe dust. Do NOT approach from DOWNWIND.

Methods for cleaning up
- Recovery : Recover as much of the product as possible. Vacuum up the product.
Collect up the spilled product and place it in a spare container:
- suitably labelled.
Keep the recovered product for subsequent disposal.
- Cleaning/Decontamination : Spray all the contaminated area with large amounts of water.
Technical measures : Blanket with inert gas. Earth the equipment.
Avoid contact with moisture/humidity.
Avoid the formation or spread of dust in the atmosphere.
Avoid the build-up of electrostatic charge.
Avoid contact with hot surfaces.
Safe handling advice : Comply with instructions for use (refer to technical sheet). Do NOT handle in the presence of humidity.
Technical measures : The floor of the depot should be impermeable
- Recommended : To guarantee the quality and properties of the product keep:
- protected from light.
- the container tightly closed and dry.
- in a designated area.
Incompatible products : Alkalis and caustic products.
Packaging : - Polyethylene liner inside a fibre-board drum.
For small quantities: - Plastic bottles. - Glass bottles.
- Recommended : Polyethylene.Tinted glass.
- Not suitable : Aluminium and its alloys.
Engineering measures : Extraction to remove dust at its source.
Ensure good ventilation of the work station.
Personal protective equipment
Respiratory protection: Handling dry powder in bulk: Half-mask.
- Hand protection : Impermeable protective gloves.
- Eye protection : Safety spectacles.
- Skin and body protection : Protective clothing.
Collective emergency: Safety shower. Eye fountain.
Hygiene measures: Frequently vacuum dust. Separate normal clothes from work-clothes.
Stability : Stable at room temperature.
- Hazardous decomposition products : On combustion or on thermal decomposition (pyrolysis) releases:toxic vapours. (Phenol).(Carbon oxides (CO + CO2)).
- Materials to avoid : Reacts with: - strong bases. - aluminium, above 100ºC.
RESIDUES FROM PRODUCT
Destruction/Disposal : Incinerate at a licensed installation.
Prohibition : Discharging waste into rivers and drains is forbidden.
Decontamination/cleaning : Cleaning is not required prior to disposal.
Destruction/Disposal : Incinerate plastic films at a licensed installation.
Entrust the cardboard packaging to a licensed waste-contractor.
