Description of key information

Waiving of study:
In accordance with column 2 of REACH Regulation 1907/2006/EC Annex IX section 9.2.1.2 and 9.2.1.4, the studies “Biodegradation in water and sediment: simulation test” do not need to be conducted as the test substance is inherently biodegradable. In addition a direct or indirect exposure of the water and sediment compartment is not expected to a high extent. The substance has a low log Kow of 1.98, a low BCF (6.2-22) and a low calculated log Koc of 2.46 and is thus regarded as neither persistent nor bioaccumulative.
