The aim of this study was the determination ofthe oxidizing properties (solids)of the test item. The test was performed following EEC directive A.17. In accordance with the provisions of regulation 1272/2008, Annex I, 2.14, it is proposed classification is not required.
Due to chemical structure captan is not expected to have oxidising properties. All chlorine and oxygen atoms are bond to carbon.
According to the EU regulation No 1272/2008 the test substances is not considered to have oxidising properties.
