Stakeholder survey on applications for authorisation
ECHA has launched a survey asking stakeholders for their feedback on the implementation of the application and opinion-making process for REACH authorisations.
The survey is for all interested and involved parties. However, applicants have already received separate surveys through REACH-IT.
|
|
|
|
This general stakeholder survey aims to give all interested parties an opportunity to share their views and to help ECHA identify ways to improve the application and opinion-making processes as well as the resulting opinions.
We would greatly appreciate receiving your response by 23 August 2021.

EOGRTS: review ongoing, critical issues found
Experts from ECHA and Member States have found critical issues in the design and conduct of extended one-generation reproductive toxicity (EOGRT) studies.
The issues can compromise data analysis and may raise questions over compliance or requests for further studies if there is a concern. ECHA encourages registrants and test laboratories to consider the issues and improve ongoing and future EOGRT studies accordingly.
The EOGRT study (EU B.56, OECD TG 443) has been the information requirement for reproductive toxicity in REACH since March 2015.

OEL scoping studies: Calls for evidence for PAHs and welding fumes
The call for evidence on polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) aims to identify and assess the most appropriate approach for monitoring different PAHs and collecting relevant data on monitoring approaches.
The one on welding fumes and fumes from other processes (such as plasma cutting and air carbon arc gouging that generate fumes in a way that is similar to welding) aims to gather relevant data on identification and processes, but also on exposure, health effects, toxicology, epidemiology and modes of action.
This information will help ECHA to draft the related scoping studies.
The deadline for comments is 3 September 2021.
