During 2020, progress was made on 113 substances. Evaluation was completed for 31 substances resulting in 12 draft decisions and 14 conclusions (the remaining 5 evaluations were suspended pending completion of ongoing compliance checks). Another 5 draft decisions were sent as a result of follow-up evaluation. 16 substance evaluations from previous evaluation years were also concluded.
Altogether, 30 substance evaluation conclusions were published in 2020. The authorities recommended further risk management measures for 13 of these substances, whereas 17 substances already had the necessary measures in place (or did not need any).
