Description of key information

Pow = 1540 ± (63.9) and log Pow = 3.19 ± (0.0179) at 25°C, OECD 107, Stulz 1996

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Log Kow (Log Pow):
3.19
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The partition coefficient of the substance has been determined using a procedure based on those described in OECD Guideline 107 and EU Method A.8 and the shake flask method. The octanol / water partition coefficient (Pow) expressed also as the logarithm to base 10 (log Pow) was determined to be:

Pow = 1540 ± (63.9) at 25°C

log Pow = 3.19 ± (0.0179) at 25°C

The figure in parentheses represents one standard deviation about the mean value. All values are given correct to three significant figures.
