Description of key information

Substance is soluble in 7 organic solvents at 25°C, with decreasing solubility seen for increasing non-polar solvency, Stulz 1998

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The solubility of the substance has been determined in 7 organic solvents. A procedure similar to that described in CIPAC method MT 157.3 (Water Solubility) was used for the determination of the solubility. The solubilities determined at 25°C are as follows:

Acetone: >500 g/l

Dichloromethane: >500 g/l

Ethyl acetate: >500 g/l

Hexane: 600 mg/l

Methanol: 170 g/l

Octanol: 5.2 g/l

Toluene: 310 g/l

The results have been quoted to two significant figures.
