Results of the first REACH registration deadline for Croatian companies

The first REACH registration deadline for Croatian companies was on 1 July 2014. The deadline effectively brought together the first two REACH deadlines into one - for CMRs and volumes of over 100 tonnes per year. By the deadline, 10 Croatian companies had registered 60 substances. Croatia joined the European Union on 1 July 2013.

New CLH consultations launched for three pesticides

ECHA has started a 45-day public consultation on harmonised classification and labelling (CLH) proposals for the pesticides fenpyrazamine, carbetamide and spiroxamine.

Fenpyrazamine is a fungicide and the dossier submitter (Austria) is proposing a more severe classification than the currently harmonised classification for environmental hazard.

Carbetamide is a herbicide which does not have a harmonised classification yet, and the dossier submitter (France) is proposing classification for both health and environmental hazards.

Spiroxamine is a fungicide, and the dossier submitter (Germany) is proposing changes and additions to the current harmonised classification for health and environmental hazards.

The deadline for submitting comments is 22 August 2014.

Important reminder for PIC exporters

In order to migrate your data (export notifications, special RIN requests and details on mixtures and articles) from EDEXIM to the new submission system, ePIC, the "ownership" of the data must be digitally assigned to your company using a unique identifier that is recognised by both systems. This Legal Entity Universal Unique Identifier (LE UUID) can be obtained from the REACH-IT application. Please log into EDEXIM, where you will find detailed instructions, and provide your LE UUID no later than 22 August 2014.
