Uppmaningar att inkomma med synpunkter gör det möjligt för parterna att visa sitt intresse och uttrycka sina åsikter och farhågor i ett tidigt skede av utarbetandet av vetenskapliga rapporter om yrkeshygieniska gränsvärden för ämnen eller kemiska agenser på arbetsplatsen.
En uppmaning att inkomma med synpunkter kompletterar men ersätter inte samrådet om Echas vetenskapliga rapport om yrkeshygieniska gränsvärden, som tagits fram för att stödja härledningen av yrkeshygieniska gränsvärden för arbetsplatser.
