Seminar on Applications for Authorisation
The purpose of the seminar is to improve future applicants' knowledge of the authorisation application procedure. The main topics to be covered include the content requirements for applications, the public consultation on possible alternatives, the analysis of alternatives and socio-economic analysis, as well as the formats, manuals and tools for the application submission. Specific issues related to EDC, MOCA and Diglyme will also be addressed.
The seminar is targeting people with a basic understanding of the application for authorisation process and, in particular, those with an intention to apply for authorisation or those who will be helping companies to apply.
Date and venue
The seminar is organised by ECHA in collaboration with Cefic and Eurometaux and will take place at ECHA from June 29th (starting at approximately 13:00) to June 30th (ending at approximately 13:00). An informal dinner at sea is planned for the evening of the 29th.
The programme will be updated periodically.
There will be a live web stream of the seminar and the presentations will be made available after the event to allow a broader audience to benefit from them, including SMEs and/or downstream users who could not attend the seminar physically.
The seminar is free of charge. ECHA will offer refreshments during coffee breaks. However, the lunch, dinner, travel and accommodation expenses will be not covered by the Agency.
An informal dinner at sea will take place on 29 June (participation fee approx. 50 EUR per person).
The link to the application form to register for the seminar has closed on the 1st of June. There will however be live web streaming, for which it is possible to register.
