Additional information

Two studies were performed to estimate the adsorption/desorption of charcoal according to OECD Guidelines for testing chemicals, testing gyidance No. 121.

The first one on a sample of charcoal with C-Fix = 80.5 % shows that the The log Koc of the test item charcoal is stated as <1.5.

The second on a sample of charcoal with C-Fix = 78.55 % shows that due to the limited solubility of the test item no chromatographic peak was detectable in the test item injection.

As a result the log Koc of the test item charcoal is stated as <1.5.
