Additional information

The explosive properties of charcoal were investigated according to EU method A.14.

In the test for thermal sensitivity, no explosion was observed. In the test for mechanical sensitivity (shock), no explosion was observed when using a force of 40 J.

In the test for mechanical sensitivity (friction), no explosion was observed when using a weight of 360 N and a speed of 10 mm in 0.44 seconds.

Accordingly, the test item was considered as non-explosive.
