A number of published values are available for the autoignition temperature of 2 -butoxyethyl acetate. No single value is from a definitive source but this weight of evidence allows confidence in the decided key parameter which is based on the middle of the cited values; one that is likely to be derived from a measured value. It should be noted that a less conservative approach was adopted in the EU risk assessment where the higher value of 340C was selected as the key parameter.
