Additional information

Corfree® M1 has been assessed using the read across major ingredient, dodecanedioic acid (CAS Number: 693-23-2), as the most sensitive chemical to organism in acute toxicity tests from three trohpic levels is the alga species Desmodesmus subspicatus with an ErC50 of >38.6 mg/L. According to Guidance R.10 an assessment factor of 1000 is applied. All ecotoxicological endpoints were considered and the appropriate read across datawas used to derive the extrapolated PNECvalues.

Conclusion on classification

Directive 67/548/EEC:

Considering the available acute and chronic aquatic ecotoxicity data and the results from the biodegradation study the test substance is not environmentally classified.

GHS:

Based on the available acute and chronic aquatic ecotoxicity data and the results from the biodegradation study the substance is not environmentally classified.
