Description of key information

The substance is found to be biodegradable and the applied test concentrations are in the range of concentrations that can be expected in the influent of a sewage treatment plant (according to REACH Annex VIII, 9.1.4. column 2).  

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The representative compound selected by EPI Suite™ for Corfree® M1 was undecanedioic acid (CASRN 1852-04-6). Given these data that the substance was readily biodegrable in activated sludge up to 33 ul/L Corfree® M1 is not expected to persist or bioaccumulate, or be subject to long range transport in the atmosphere.
