Description of key information

Simulation testing for biodegradation in soil is not required as Corfree® M1 diacids is identified as readily biodegradable (refer to IUCLID point 5.2.1 / REACH regulation data point 9.2.1.1). Therefore, a test is not required according to REACh Annex IX, column 2.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Waiving according to "column 2" in Annex IX of REGULATION (EC) No 1907/2006 (substance readily biodegradable). The substance was found to be readily biodegradable when tested according to OECD 301b (CO2 Evolution) guidelines, but failed the 10-day window. Because it is a complex chemical mixture of homologus components, the 10-day window does not apply.
