In accordance with points 126.96.36.199 and 188.8.131.52, Column 2 (Specific rules
for adaptation from Column 1), Annex IX of Regulation (EC) No.
1907/2006, further degradation testing shall only be considered if the
Chemical Safety Assessment indicates the need to investigate further the
degradation of the substance. Furthermore, the study does not need to be
conducted if the substance is readily biodegradable. The substance was
found to be readily biodegradable in the submitted screening study,
testing is therefore not required. In accordance with points 9.2.3,
Column 2 (Specific rules for adaptation from Column 1), Annex IX of the
same regulation, the identification of degradation products need not be
performed for substances that are readily biodegradable. Since the
substance was found to be readily biodegradable testing has been omitted.
