Additional information

The substance bis(2-aminoethyl)amine (CASRN 111-40-0) was determined to exhibit very low biocentration in freshwater fish (Cyprinus carpio). The measured BCF values ranging from < 0.3 to 6.3 are consistent with such a substance having miscibility in water, low log Kow (-1.58), and carrying ionic charge(s) under pH conditions encountered in the aquatic environment. The substance is therefore of very low concern for bioaccumulation in aquatic organisms.
