Description of key information

No relevant carcinogenotity study is available on 1,3 -diphenylguanidine.

There is no evidence from the repeated dose studies that 1,3-diphenylguanidine is able to induce hyperplasia and/or pre-neoplastic lesions. In addition, the negative results from the series of in vivo genotoxicity tests do not suggest any cause for concern with respect to carcinogenicity.
