A GLP-compliant guinea-pig maximisation test was carried out in accordance with internationally accepted guidelines (Leuschner, 2005). No skin reactions were observed in the main study in any of the test animals or control animals. On this basis, dicopper chloride trihydroxide is not classified as a sensitiser.
