Additional information

In accordance with REACH Annex X, 9.5, Column 2, long-term sediment toxicity testing shall be proposed by the registrant if the CSA indicates the need to investigate further the effects of the substance and/or relevant degradation products on sediment organisms. As the substance is not assumed to be highly adsorptive to sediment (log Kow < 3, no other indications of high adsorption), the EPM method was applied to perform exposure assessment and risk characterisation by the registrant, following the ITS as described in ECHA Guidance on Information Requirements and CSA, R.7b,. No risks were identified and in conclusion sediment toxicity testing is not required.
