Results and discussion

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

A field experiment conducted in a sand aquifer at the C.F.B. Borden test site in Ontario, Canada resulted in CTC degradation with a half-life of 3-7 days via sulfate reduction with two thirds of carbon tetrachloride transforming to chloroform and one third to carbon disulfide.
