Reference
Endpoint:
long-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates
Type of information:
experimental study planned (based on read-across)
Remarks:
Data for long-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates will be available in 2023 for an analogue approach (Pentan-1-ol, CAS 71-41-0) and are considered to be used to cover this endpoint. We suggest to use analogue date when available.
Justification for type of information:
No data are available for 3-methylbutan-1-ol for the time being. Read-across data for long-term toxicity to invertebrates will be available in 2023 for an analogue approach with Pentan-1-ol (CAS 71-41-0), that is past of the pentanols catagory, and are considered to be used to cover this endpoint. Therefore, we suggest to use the data from the analogue substance Pentan-1-ol (CAS 71-41-0) when available.
A read-across justification is given in chapter 13.
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 211 (Daphnia magna Reproduction Test)
Deviations:
not specified
GLP compliance:
yes (incl. QA statement)
Analytical monitoring:
yes
