Additional information

Toxicity to soil macroorganisms except arthropods

A study on toxicity to terrestrial macroorganisms does not need to be conducted because direct an indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely.

Toxicity to terrestrial arthropods

A study on toxicity to terrestrial arthropods does not need to be conducted because direct an indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely.

Toxicity to terrestrial plants

A study on toxicity to terrestrial plants does not need to be conducted because direct an indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely.

Toxicity to soil microorganisms

A study on toxicity to soil microorganisms does not need to be conducted because direct an indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely.

Toxicity to birds

No data on terrestrial toxicity are available. However, in chapter R.10 of the Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment (ECHA 2008, p. 42) concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), it is laid down that "the chemicals of concern with respect to secondary poisoning include lipophilic organic chemicals and some metal compounds". The substance shows a low bioaccumulative (log Pow = 1.51) potential. Thus, a relevant and considerable exposure of birds is not expected. Therefore, and for reasons of animal welfare studies on bird toxicity are not provided.

Toxicity to other above-ground organisms

This is not a standard information requirement in Annex IX/X of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006.
