Additional information

Details on the available phys-chem data are available in the IUCLID data set.

The pure substance is a white solid with a melting point of 69.4 °C. A vapour pressure of 5.31 x 10-6 Pa was determined at 25 °C. Decomposition started at ca. 275 °C, before reaching the boiling point. The solubility in pure water was found to be 0.59 mg/L at 25 °C. The pKa-value (basic) is 3.55, that means in aqueous solutions the neutral form is predominantly present at pH > 3.55. The measured log Pow at 25 °C and pH 7 was 5.2.

Flammability, autoflammability, oxidizing and explosive properties do not lead to special concerns.
