Description of key information

Auto-ignition temperature (Schürch): no self-ignition up to the melting point of the substance (approx. 70°C)
Auto-ignition temperature (102.1 kPa, Bailey): 400 °C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
400 °C

Additional information

Two studies are available which measured the auto flammability of the substance. Both are considered to be adequate and reliable. The study with the extended temperature range is considered as more relevant and is carried forward for use in risk assessment, classification and labeling.
