Conclusion on classification

Solvent Green 28 is not readily biodegradable and not very soluble in water (<0.003 mg/L). However a BCF of 798 L/kg wet-wt has been identifed and acute toxicity studies on algae, daphnia and fish and a chronic study on daphnia showed no effects.

Bases on the available information Solvent Green 28 is not classified for environmental hazards according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP).
