Conclusion on classification

No acute toxicity data were available for aquatic invertebrates or fish exposed to tripropylene glycol n-butyl ether highers (TPnB-H) so a read across was conducted to Tripropylene glycol n-butyl ether (TPnB) and SYNALOX. Both substance has similiar chemical structures and bracket the molecular weight of TPnB-H. These values along with an acute algal study with TPnB-H indicated no aquatic toxicity to aquatic organisms as LC50 values were 100 mg/L or higher. Therefore, no classification is required.
