Description of key information

Asorption/Desorption studies are not available. Justification for a waiver is based on the low log Kow values for the major components.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

According to REACH guidance (Column 2 of Annex VIII), adsorption/desorption screening is not required for substances where the log Kow is less than 3. Since the log Kow values for the major components of tripropylene glycol n-butyl ether highers are 2, adsorption/desorption studies can be waived.
