Description of key information

The oxazolidine component of substance is expected to hydrolyze rapidly into formaldehyde and AMP. Company's internal observation suggests that most of the formaldehyde formed is transformed into carbon dioxide. The mechanism is not understood. The available data show that AMP as well as PTSA are hydrolytically stable, but biodegrade rapidly. No bioaccumulation is expected (logKow of the substance <3). The logKoc of the substance is 1.29, indicative for low adsorptive properties.
