- Conclusions:
- According to OECD Test Guidelines 109 (2012), Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Part A. Method A.3. and EPA OCSPP Test Guideline 830.7300 (2002), the relative density D420 of the test item strontium neodecanoate at 20 °C ± 0.01 °C (compared to water at 4 °C) is D420 = 1.19.
Reference
Two tests with different amounts of the test item were performed to determine the relative density D420 at a temperature of 20 °C ± 0.01 °C.
Results of the measurement of the density of the test item
Test No. | Temperature [°C] | Amount of test item [g] | Average sample volume [cm³] | Density [g/cm³]* |
1 | 20 | 9.27 | 7.80885 | 1.18583 |
2 | 20 | 8.02 | 6.74890 | 1.18834 |
* The pressurizing-expansion cycles are performed until 5 subsequent volume measurements have a relative standard deviation (RSD) of ≤ 0.2 %.
The mean density of the test item at 20 °C is 1.18709 g/cm³. The relative density D420 is calculated by dividing the density of the test item by the density of water at 4 °C (0.9999750 g/cm³).
The relative density is D420 =1.19.
Description of key information
The relative density D420 of Strontium neodecanoate is 1.19
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- Relative density at 20C:
- 1.19
Additional information
According to OECD Test Guidelines 109 (2012), Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Part A. Method A.3. and EPA OCSPP Test Guideline 830.7300 (2002), the relative density D420 of the test item Strontium neodecanoate at 20 °C ± 0.01 °C (compared to water at 4 °C) is D420 = 1.19.
