EC number: 812-724-1
CAS number: 106705-37-7
In the temperature range of
30 °C – 220 °C, a broad endothermic effect was observed. The rise of the
base line at approximately 240 °C can be attributed to the evaporation
of gas, which might be caused by the decomposition of the test item.
of the DSC-measurements
In the capillary measurements a phase
transition, but no melting, can be observed at a temperature of
approximately 61 °C. At approximately 170 °C the decomposition
of the test item started. No melting of the test item under atmospheric
pressure could be observed up to a maximum temperature of 363 °C.
Strontium neodecanoate has no melting
point. Its decomposition starts at 170 °C.
The test item Strontium neodecanoate has no
melting point at atmospheric pressure (1005 hPa) as determined by
differential scanning calorimetry and the capillary method according to
Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 Method A.1. and OECD Test Guideline 102
(1995). Decomposition starts at 170 °C.
