Registration Dossier

Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information - workers

The substance is classified as both a skin and respiratory sensitiser in accordance with the requirements of Directive 67/548/EEC (DSD) and Regulation 1272/2008 (CLP).

As such, sensitisation is to be regarded as the most sensitive end-point and no DNEL can be derived due to the lack of dose-response data. A qualitative risk characterisation is therefore necessary and this

is detailed in the accompanying CSR.

Availability of a national Occupational Exposure Limit Value (OEL)

No exposure limits are currently in place within EU Member States for the registered substance, 4 -MHHPA, although limits exist for the generic substance (no specific isomer, CAS 25550 -51 -0).

Users of this substance must examine the details of the Chemical Safety Report (CSR) and follow the recommendations contained therein to ensure the best protection of workers potentially exposed to the substance.

Users must ensure that they are in compliance with any state or local requirements concerning use of the substance and protection of the workforce.
