Conclusion on classification

The available data indicate that Sancticizer ® 278 is not acutely toxic to fish, daphnia and algae at the limit of solubility. No chronic effects were observed in daphnia at the limit of water solubility. It can be concluded that S278 poses no short- or long-term hazard to the aquatic environment due to having no measurable effects at the limit of solubility. Santicizer® 278 is therefore not classified in respect of the environment.
