Executive summary:

In an acute inhalation toxicity study, groups of 6 young adult male Carworth-Wistar rats were exposed by inhalation route to of styrene oxide for 4 hours at concentrations of  500 ppm  mg/L.  Animals then were observed for 14 days.

LC50Males > 0.5 ml/L for 4 h

Styrene Oxide is classified as being of LOW Toxicity based on males.
