Additional information

A number of published values are available for the autoignition temperature of 2 -butoxyethanol that are deemed reliable. These values cover a reasonably narrow range of values. Whilst some figures are the same and may well come from the same original source, clearly four separate determinations are available. Some sources are to quoted DIN or ASTM standards. No single value is from a definitive source but this weight of evidence allows confidence in the decided key parameter which is conservatively based on the lowest cited value.
