In accordance with Column 2 of REACH Annex VII, the partition coefficient study (section 7.8) does not need to be conducted as the substance is inorganic. Furthermore, TiCl4 hydrolyses rapidly on contact with water (Fisk et al 2010), therefore measurement of a partition coefficient is not technically feasible.
