Additional information

Tris(2-butoxyethyl)-phosphate (TBEP) is an organic substance, liquid and colourless at 20°C and 101.3 kPa with a mild odour. The substance is considered surface active, is moderately soluble in water and based on the log Kow value, has a potential for bioaccumulation. TBEP exhibits a low vapour pressure therefore if released in the environment, the substance is not expected to go to the air compartment.

With regard to physical hazards, TBEP is not a fammable liquid and explosive or oxidising properties are not anticipated.
