First-aid measures

General advice:


Remove contaminated, soaked clothing immediately and dispose of safely. Take affected person to fresh air.Adhere to personal protective measures
when giving first aid.Keep warm, calm and covered up. By continuous complaints consult a physician.Alcohol increases the toxic effects.



If inhaled


Remove the casualty into fresh air and keep him calm. Get medical attention
immediately.



In case of skin contact


Thaw frosted parts with lukewarm water. Do not rub affected area. Get immediate medical advice/attention.



In case of eye contact


In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek
medical advice. In case of irritation consult an occulist.



If swallowed


Summon a doctor immediately. Provide for body rest, protect against loss of
heat.If individual is drowsy or unconscious place in recovery position (on left
side, with head down).



Notes to physician



Hazards: Danger of reduced reaction capability (sedativum). Risk of deterioration due to consumption of alcohol.
Symptoms: Headache, Daze, Frostbite, Unconsciousness, Cough, Intoxication, CNS depression. When inhaled or swallowed depending on the time and amount, it can give rise to the following symptoms: Headaches, Giddiness, Tiredness, Nausea, Vomit, Heart beat distrubance, Intoxication, Unconciousness, Breathing stop, Death.
Treatment: If ingested, irrigate the stomach using activated charcoal in addition. Treat frost-bitten areas as needed. Do not give drugs from adrenaline-ephedrine group.

Special exposure hazards arising from the substance or preparation: In case of fires, hazardous combustion gases are formed: Hydrogen chloride (HCl). May form explosive mixtures in air.

Personal precautions: Keep away sources of ignition. Use personal protective clothing. Ensure adequate ventilation. Keep people away and stay on the upwind side.

Environmental precautions: Do not allow to enter drains or waterways. Do not discharge into the subsoil/soil.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling



Advice on safe handling: Perform filling operations only at stations with exhaust ventilation facilities. Keep container tightly closed. Handle and open container with care. Take precautionary measures against static discharges. Keep away from sources of ignition. Use explosion-proof equipment/fittings and non-sparking tools.



Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities


Storage space and container requirements: Store product in closed containers. Use stainless steel containers. Use glass containers. Suitable material for sealings: fluororubber, polytetrafluoroethylene, polyfluotthenpropene, graphite.



Unsuitable materials for containers: zinc, Aluminium. Do not store or transport in containers made of light metals or alloys.



Hints on storage assembly: Do not store with strong oxidizing agents. Do not store with combustible materials.



Storage specifications: Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place, open and handle carefully.
