The bioaccumulation potential of the cresol isomers only was tested on aquatic organisms. No data is available on terrestrial organisms.

BCF values of 10.7 and 20 were determined in fish for o-cresol and m-cresol, indicating a low bioaccumulation potential for both isomers. No experimental data is available on p-cresol. According to a low log Kow value of 1.94, p-cresol is expected not to accumulate in aquatic organisms.
