Description of key information

With regard to its chemical structure o-, m- and p-cresol are not expected to hydrolyse under environmental conditions.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

No test on hydrolysis is available. However, since o-, m- and p-cresol are readily biodegradable testing is not required according to column 2 of REACH Annex VIII.
