N,N,N',N',N'',N''-hexamethyl-1,3,5-triazine-1,3,5(2H,4H,6H)-tripropanamine is liquid under normal conditions. It is decomposing from 1717 deg. C, before boiling point is reached. Freezing point is bellow -90 C. Substance is highly soluble in water. It has no explosive or oxidizer potential.
The average density of the test substance is 0.912 g/ml at 23 °C and vapor pressure is determined to be 533.2 Pa at 294.25 K.
Partition coefficient of N,N,N',N',N'',N''-hexamethyl-1,3,5-triazine-1,3,5(2H,4H,6H)-tripropanamine is Log octanol/water 0.26 at 25 +/- 1 °C and water solubility is 590 g/l at 25 ° C.
Viscosity of the N,N,N',N',N'',N''-hexamethyl-1,3,5-triazin-1,3,5(2H,4H,6H)-tripropanamine is independent of shear rate at temperatures of 20°C and 40°C, the material is a Newtonian fluid. Average viscosity is 43.4 mPa s at 20 C and 15.7 mPa s at 40 C.
The mean surface tension value is 64.15±0.16 mN/m for a 1.005g/L solution.
Experimentally determined corrected Flash Point is at 100.5 °C according test method ASTM D93 and the auto ignition temperature of the substance is 215 °C at 744 mm Hg.
