Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

There was no freezing point evident on the cooling curve or melting point evident on the heating curve. The absence of a freezing or melting point could be attributed to a freeze point below -90°C, the instrument lower detection limit or the sample maybe amorphous whereby the viscosity increases slowly but the material does not crystallize.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
-90 °C

Additional information

In accordance with Column 2 adaptation statement of REACH Annex VII, Information requirement section 7.2, this study does not need to be conducted below a lower limit of -20 °C.

So -90°C was set as a value for the CSA.
