Description of key information

Additional information

Column 1 of REACH Annex IX section 7.15 states that experimental determination of the "stability in organic solvents and identity of relevant degradation products" is "only required if stability of the substance is considered to be critical". In addition, the Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment Chapter R.7a: Endpoint specific guidance, May 2008, Section 7.1.16, page 168, states that "for many substances, the stability in organic solvents will not be critical and testing need not be conducted". The solubility of B-TTEGME in organic solvents is not considered to be an important feature of B-TTEGME and therefore, no experimental determination of the solubility in organic solvents will be performed as separate endpoint.
