Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation:
If inhaled, remove to fresh air. Get medical attention if symptoms appear.
Ingestion:
If ingested, wash out mouth with water. Get medical attention if symptoms appear.
Skin contact:
Wash with soap and water.
Eye contact:
Check for and remove any contact lenses. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Get medical attention if symptoms appear.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable: Cover with dry sand or other non-combustible material.
Not suitable: Water
Accidental release measures
Avoid generating and inhaling dust. Good general ventilation should be sufficient to control worker exposure to airborne contaminants. If there is a risk of exceeding the exposure limit use respiratory protection (filtering half-masks EN149-FFP2) against particulates. Safety goggle should be used when there is a likelihood of exposure.
Handling and storage
Keep container dry and tightly closed. Keep away from heat and from sources of ignition.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Hand protection: No special recommendations. Recommendations: EN388 : Gloves , mechanical-resistant
Body protection: No special protective clothing is required.
Other skin protection: No special protection is required.
Respiratory protection: A respirator is not needed under normal and intended conditions of product use. Use appropriate respiratory protection if there is a risk of exceeding any exposure limits. EN149 - FFP2 : Filtering half-masks to protect against particulates.
Environmental exposure controls: Emissions from ventilation or work process equipment should be checked to ensure they comply with the requirements of environmental protection legislation. In some cases, fume scrubbers, filters or engineering modifications to the process equipment will be necessary to reduce emissions to acceptable levels.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity : No specific test data related to reactivity available for this product or its ingredients.
Chemical stability: The product is stable.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: Hazardous reactions or instability may occur under certain conditions of storage or use. Conditions may include the following: contact with water. Reactions may include the following: liberation of flammable gas.
Respiratory protection: A respirator is not needed under normal and intended conditions of product use. Use
appropriate respiratory protection if there is a risk of exceeding any exposure limits.
EN149 - FFP2 : Filtering half-masks to protect against particulates.
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods
Product
Methods of disposal : The generation of waste should be avoided or minimised wherever possible.Dispose of surplus and non-recyclable products via a licensed waste disposal. Dispose of surplus and non-recyclable products via a licensed waste disposal contractor.
Packaging
Methiods of disposal: The generation of waste should be avoided or minimised wherever possible.
Special precautions: This material and its container must be disposed of in a safe way. Avoid dispersal of spilt material and runoff and contact with soil, waterways, drains and sewers.
