Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In the key study (BASF SE, 2001), the dissociation constants of the test substance were determined by the spectrophotometric method at 20 °C according to OECD guideline 112. The dissociation constants of the test substance were pKa1=1.7, pKa2=3.5 and pKa3=11.1.

In the supporting study (American Cyanamid, 1985), the test substance showed a dissociation constant of 3.8.

Furthermore, comparable dissociation constants were listed in the HSDB database with values of pKa1=1.9, pKa2=3.6 and pKa3=11.
