Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Comment: No flash observed the sample started boiling at approximately 210 °C, producing grey vapours which extinguished the test flame. Testing was terminated at 228 °C.

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met

Description of key information

The flash point of the test substance was determined to be >228 °C at 1011-1018 hPa (EU A.9, closed cup).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The flash point of the test substance was determined in a Pensky-Martens closed cup apparatus. No flash point could be determined due to sample boiling / decomposition at 228 °C under test conditions.

Supporting information measured with an open cup method (205 °C) confirmed a flash point >200 °C.
