The substance has a vapor pressure of 44 hPa and 60.2 hPa at 25°C and 20°C, respectively. The substance is reported to be miscible with water and has an n-octanol/water partition coefficient (log Kow) of 0.05 at 25°C. This substance is highly flammable, with a flash point of about 12°C. The substance does not possess oxidizing or explosive properties. The substance has an estimated dissociation constant of 15.31, which suggest that it will predominantly exist in the undissociated form throughout the environmentally relevant pH range of 5 to 9.
