Additional information

Sodium diisobutylnaphtalene sulphonate resulted of moderate toxicity for aquatic organisms basing on the lowest eco-toxicity value in Daphnia magna (EC50of 64 mg/L). Considering the inherently biodegradation of the substance, which involves a first order biodegradation, the substance may be considered harmful for aquatic environment with long-lasting effects.
