Conclusions:
A surface tension of a 3.08 x 10-2 g/L solution (TOC) of Distilled Tall Oil was obtained to be 63.5 mN/m. The result was obtained in a reliable study conducted according to OECD 115, and in compliance with GLP. DTO is not considered to be surface active.

Description of key information

Surface Tension: 63.5 mN/m (OECD 115), Not surface active

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A reliable aqueous solution surface tension value of 63.5 mN/m at 22°C has been determined for the test substance in accordance with OECD 115. The substance is considered not surface active.
